Why is design an important part of revitalizing communities?
Design illicits an opinion from everyone, and a community can be galvanized around a shared like or dislike of design elements of the built environment.
What has been most surprising, rewarding, or fun about your Collaborative experience?
I appreciated the chance to return to a Philadelphia neighborhood that I was already familiar with, but this time was able to see it from someone else's perpective- and it was like a brand new place.
What do you love most about Philadelphia?
The people. No matter what, Philadelphians are proud of their city in its entirety: the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?
I moved to Philadelphia in 1998, and live here with my wife and 3 children.
