Design is an important part of revitalizing communities because it brings people together for a common goal.
What has been most surprising, rewarding, or fun about your Collaborative experience?
The most rewarding part of this project was working together with members of the community. At the community meetings, you could see firsthand how the power of design can transcend all boundaries. Not all of the residents of the community we were working with could speak English, and it was incredible to see the way we could communicate their vision through design. It was fun to work side by side with people from other disciplines too.
What do you love most about Philadelphia?
I love that despite being a big city, you can feel the sense of community within each neighborhood. I also love the amazing food and music scene
