Why is design an important part of revitalizing communities?
I think that thoughtful design doesn't need to be expensive or complex to have a huge impact on the health, vitality, and vibrance of a community.
What has been most surprising, rewarding, or fun about your Collaborative experience?
As a relatively new designer (who has only worked in commercial design), I enjoy the opportunity to meet new groups of people and to be able to make an impact through design within the community.
What do you love most about Philadelphia?
I love the diversity of neighborhoods within the city and the wealth of historic architecture. Oh and definitely the food!
Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?
I love learning about people's processes whether it be design, architecture, art, or something else. The NPR podcast " How I Built This" is a favorite for that reason.
