Q. Why is design an important part of revitalizing communities?
R. Design helps to provide visioning for a community. This visioning helps to excite a community about possibilities in shared public spaces. This excitement can help to leverage funds and improve public spaces in turn revitalize local communities. The collaborative does an excellent job finding appropriate clients to provide grants.
Q. What has been most surprising, rewarding, or fun about your Collaborative experience?
R. I enjoyed getting to know team members.

R. I love Philadelphia's grit, diversity and the strong feeling of opportunity here.
