Why is design an important part of revitalizing communities?
Design is vital to both revitalize and maintain communities. Design and change within a community can spark confidence and pride in members of the community, which in turn makes for a healthier, happier, and safer environment.
What has been most surprising, rewarding, or fun about your Collaborative experience?
Each time, I learn a new skill while working on CDC projects. The most rewarding part is putting what I've learned throughout the years into action, while also continuing to grow in my profession.
What do you love most about Philadelphia?
Philadelphia has a ton to offer in regards to art, activity, and community involvement. There is always something to do or become involved with.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about yourself?
When I'm not working, I am most likely to be found hanging out with my two dogs (and foster puppies)!
