Community Design Collaborative

For Park(ing) Day Philadelphia 2017, the Collaborative transformed a parking space into a pop-up lending library that was later re-installed at the Wister Recreation Center in Germantown. The library brought in a steady stream of readers and sparked great conversations about favorite books. The Little Library features colorful fencing designed to look like the spines of favorite books and shelving built from wooden crates.
