J.R. Masterman Laboratory & Demonstration School
The Community Design Collaborative engaged Masterman students, parents, teachers, and staff in expanding the school’s outdoor recreation alternatives beyond basketball. Planters, rubber surfaces, shade sails, seating, tables, and storage for sports equipment will create colorful, uncluttered places to interact, garden, or simply unwind—on the roof and in the main courtyard. Best of all, many of the elements can be rearranged to suit different needs.
