Dan Meier

"I would love to see Mayor Nutter’s dream of making this the greenest city in the country become a reality." 

Dan Meier is a civil engineer with over thirty years of experience in environmental engineering, specialing in stormwater management. He's been a volunteer with the Collaborative since 2011, working on a range of projects from green schoolyards to urban farms. 

Dan has worked with Urban Tree ConnectionThe Pennsylvania Environmental CouncilSHARE Food Program, Inc., and Meredith Home & School Association. He also participated in our Soak It Up! design competition and was part of our volunteer team for the Design Charrette: Compass, Connector, Catalyst: Re-imagining 8th & Berks.

Dan sees his involvement with the Community Design Collaborative a step in the right direction toward a truly sustainable Philadelphia.
