A group of community gardeners are developing an urban green space
from a former metal scrap yard. The Collaborative's conceptual landscape
plan lays out a communal green, individual garden plots, and a perennial
garden for the irregularly-shaped site. A cistern to collect rainwater
from an adjacent roof and perimeter regrading will capture stormwater
runoff.
