Early architectural and engineering advice leads to better projects. But it’s often hard for nonprofits to raise funds for these services at the beginning of the development process. The Community Design Collaborative fills this gap by providing pro bono preliminary architectural and engineering services to nonprofit organizations in the Philadelphia region. The Collaborative expects to work with more than 30 nonprofits and provide over $300,000 in pro bono professional services this year.
