Elizabeth Miller

Elizabeth Miller, Executive Director

A skilled nonprofit manager, Beth developed her expertise in public policy, community development, and historic preservation as a program developer and policy analyst with Fairmount Ventures, at the Mid-Atlantic office of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and as a coordinator at Resource Management Plus. Beth holds a Masters in Government Administration from the Fels School of Government at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in the Growth and Structure of Cities from Bryn Mawr College.

Linda-Dottor

Linda Dottor, AICP, Program Manager

Linda is an urban planner with over twenty years of experience. Previously, she worked as a community planner with the Philadelphia City Planning Commission and the Regional Plan Association. Originally a volunteer with the Collaborative, Linda is currently the President of the Neighborhood Gardens Association, a nonprofit land trust. Linda earned a Master of City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University and a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia.

Heidi Segall Levy

Heidi Segall Levy, AIA, Project Manager

Heidi is a registered architect with twenty years of design and project management experience. Before joining the Collaborative staff, she was a senior project architect with Wallace Roberts & Todd LLC, Kling, and SOM. Currently, she is an active volunteer with Julia R. Masterman School and Temple Beth Zion Beth Israel. Heidi earned a Master of Architecture from Syracuse University and a BA in Psychology from Brandeis University.

Carryn M. Golden

Carryn M. Golden, Program Associate

Carryn has spent ten years contributing to the improvement of public spaces, the built environment and neighborhood quality of life through a variety of roles within community-based organizations and progressive nonprofits, including as a commercial corridor manager in Detroit. She earned a Master of Urban Planning and a BFA with a concentration in Interior Design from Wayne State University. Carryn sold her car in 2003 to move to Philadelphia and now proudly supports a public transportation lifestyle.

Emily Stromberg

Emily Stromberg, Associate AIA, Project Associate

Emily is an intern architect with over seven years of experience in architecture and civic engagement. Emily currently serves on the Building & Facilities Committee at the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial and the Advocacy Committee at the Delaware Valley Green Building Council. Emily and her husband recently founded their own design firm, Southern Liberties, LLC and are renovating a LEED-registered row house. Emily earned a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia.

Haley Loram

Haley Loram, Philly Fellow, Program Assistant

Haley is in her second year at the Collaborative as an AmeriCorp VISTA following a year as a Philly Fellow . Haley graduated from Swarthmore College in June 2008 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Latin American Studies. She is a fluent Spanish speaker who lived in Argentina and Bolivia for a year.

Erik Kojola, Philly Fellow, Communications Assistant

Erik comes to the Collaborative through the Philly Fellows program, a yearlong fellowship which offers recent graduates of Philadelphia area colleges the chance to work fulltime in the city's diverse nonprofit sector. He will spend a year working at the Collaborative on communications.  Erik graduated from Oberlin College in May 2009 with a B.A. in politics.
